The waste every week makes me feel ashamed.

What did you do with T Rex? I'm assuming you are considering cloth?Kimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01564542013071462911noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2821408119426275369.post-27594640492153641302009-08-04T08:31:15.812-07:002009-08-04T08:31:15.812-07:00I used the Pampers when my son was a baby, and the...I used the Pampers when my son was a baby, and then went back and forth with Pampers and Huggies depending on coupons. When he hit about a year old, I tried the Parent's Choice ones from Wal-Mart - I think it's their store brand now that White Cloud has been taken off the diaper shelves. Guess what - they're 6 dollars cheaper than Huggies/Pampers per 82 diapers on average. And they don't suck. I'm just sayin.
But I will NOT use generic wipes any more. Too many icky things happened. I vote Huggies Sensitive for that. :-)Katiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09730330371818493495noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2821408119426275369.post-31381995705355832722009-08-03T10:10:14.240-07:002009-08-03T10:10:14.240-07:00We used fold up cloth diapers with Ewok, and then ...We used fold up cloth diapers with Ewok, and then Princess. They had the least amount of blowouts and were nice and stretchy at the top to get a good fit.

If you are looking for an alternative, I have a friend who has a 1-year-old and she has been using these things called G Diapers -- which are plastic type underwear type things with removable liners that can be tossed. Kind of a combination of diapers and cloth. She loves them and feels better about not using so many diapers. Then I went back to work and getting a sitter to sign onto cloth diapers isn't easy so we used disposables. I use cheap diapers during the day Luv's is my first choice but will also use the Kroger brand if I get a good coupon. Then at bed time I always use Pampers because they seem to be the best against leaks.

Oh if you have any interest at all and you go with the Cloth and would like my Bummis Diaper covers I would be happy to send them to you. We never really used them because they were just to big for a newborn. The only thing you would need of your own is the Chines pre-folds that insert inside of the covers. I used mine for many other things. But the covers are like brand new.Ninahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06426465346446099471noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2821408119426275369.post-8682648746751460042009-07-31T18:30:18.068-07:002009-07-31T18:30:18.068-07:00You know I love using cloth diapers! For the science side, there are some very nasty chemicals that make disposable so absorbent. If you havent already looked that up, you should!Allyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05001927034221508920noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2821408119426275369.post-38355990998012315302009-07-31T15:04:18.411-07:002009-07-31T15:04:18.411-07:00I always used Pampers. If I could do it again, I think I would look into cloth diapers sometimes.
