Here are some photos of our festivities...
First we started with some video entertainment - Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and A Charlie Brown Christmas.
Then setting out some refreshments for Santa and his reindeer while also checking NORAD for the whereabouts of Santa. At this point, he was in Uruguay. Then it was time to head off to bed.
On Christmas morning, this is what we woke to:
Here the kids are looking at all their goodies from Santa:
Then later, some play time:
A few other notes to go along with the photos. Santa went with a "Cars" theme and T Rex Mom and Dad had nothing to do with the "giant Lightning McQueen". T Rex asked Santa for a yellow monster and some Cars and when he saw his stocking he said, "Just like I asked". But later he said he he got everything he wanted except "Bebe Jesus". Made me proud that he remembered the meaning of the season.
Bebe Sister looks pretty sad in the photos just because she was really sick and had been up all night. Also the reason there are no photos of T Rex Dad and me (we were zombies).
However, despite all the illness, it really was a great Christmas. We have everything we could possibly want, thus, the news of a school scholarship from the AANP Foundation was just frosting on the cake!

Oh darn it...so sorry that you were sick for the big day. Looks like the kids had a lovely time, anyway.
Hooray for the scholarship!
Hope you are feeling much better!!
Congrats on the scholarship! That's awesome :) I'm glad that the kids had a great Christmas even though you were all battling that nasty virus. T-Rex looks like a real roadster in that sporty car. The pretty princess looks so cute admiring her handsome big brother. I love watching Rudolph with my kids too. Thanks for sharing these precious photos with us.
Kinsie was up until 4:30 Christmas Eve/morning. It made for a exhausting, but enjoyable Christmas day. Hope everyone is on the mend!
Wonderful news about the scholarship!! Sorry to hear about the sickness. I don't want to jinx us but I have a feeling we'll be next. It's just been too long since we were all hit.
Looks like a great Christmas though! Love the giant Lightening - Deaglan is really into the same thing. He got a TON of trucks and cars and I feel like I'm in a sea of plastic. At least we'll be recycling all of this with Naveen.
Hope everyone is on the mend. I just got your card along with several others returned to sender. I didn't put enough postage on the ones I sent to the states!
oh that is so sad that you were sick for Christmas... it has happened to me before too. But sounds like the kids had a FUN time - LOVED the giant stocking for T Rex Princess! They look adorable even being tired - they still have that "Christmas Awe"
on their faces!
Congrats on your grand/scholarship - that is awesome!!!
Happy New Year!!
That is awful that you guys were sick for Christmas. But I am glad that T-Rex got everything from Santa. So cute. Wow that car! Cool!
Oh I bet the look on his face when he saw that Lightening McQueen was priceless!
I'm so sorry you guys were ill, I hope this New Year brings you better health and lots of love and happiness!
What a neat car!!! And sorry that sickness made it a bit miserable for at least 3 of you.
Looks like a great Christmas even if everyone was sick. My youngest just picked up a cold and is struggling with it right now, hopefully we don't spread it through the entire house.
The power wheel is great. We bought Luke one at the age of 2 and it was the best backyard toy ever. It worked up until last summer when it finally gave out. Some serious consideration has been made to buy another one so the youngest has the same joy and they are worth every penny as ours got great use.
