Total Lunar Eclipe August 2017

We were in the path of totality for the lunar eclipse of 2017 (August 21, 2017). Dad stayed home with the older kids while I worked. Littles went to Mrs. B's but were still able to get into the spirit of things. The school district postponed starting school so the event could be enjoyed at home.

The street lights came on and everything. It was like twilight for about 3 minutes. I viewed the event from the roof of my work place. It was pretty cool and very exciting for all of us! Here are lots of photos! I included Ss art that she drew after the event. I think those are probably my most favorite renderings of the event.
