Engagement Anniversary

Peeking into the Board Room, a special one table room, where Skip proposed 8 years ago on Veteran's Day.

Eight years ago, my wonderful husband knealt on one knee and asked me to be his wife. It was one of the most spectacular moments of my life. Every year we go back to the restaurant where he proposed and sit at the same table and order the same food.

It is a wonderful fondu restaurant called Mona Lisa - very romantic with candles and piano music. They have this special tradition where you write a message and they place it in a bottle for you to read the next time you come into the restaurant. We read our messages from last year. They were especially poignant because when we wrote them, T Rex had not yet been born.

On our way there we saw this cool car.


We dropped T Rex off a little early and stopped at one of our favorite book shops in the historic downtown district.


Then off to a wonderful dinner. Here we are after dinner - you can just see a bit of our bottle with our special notes for next year's dinner!
