I'm starting a poll to run through August 11th. I want to know what kind of diapers you use or if your kids are past that stage, what kind you used on them. And why?
I'm strongly considering diapers for T Rex Family Baby and want to gather some opinions before moving forward.
And as an added bonus a Target gift card will be given to one lucky commenter (randomly selected) on this posting. Poll closes on August 11th so I will be accepting comments until then!

I voted for Pampers b/c that's what we use with Joseph, but I am considering using cloth diaper part time with this next one... maybe I'll see how it goes with you! :)
I always used Pampers. They always seem to stay leak proof. A few times, I tried Huggies and I had leaking issues. If I could do it again, I think I would look into cloth diapers sometimes. Good luck with your poll!
You know I love using cloth diapers! Why? My 2 yr old has VERY sensitive skin, since switching to cloth his skin is hardly red. Cloth diapers can be fun and cute. For the science side, there are some very nasty chemicals that make disposable so absorbent. If you havent already looked that up, you should!
I had ever intention of using cloth diapers with Thomas bought all the stuff and it was way to big when he was born. Then I went back to work and getting a sitter to sign onto cloth diapers isn't easy so we used disposables. I use cheap diapers during the day Luv's is my first choice but will also use the Kroger brand if I get a good coupon. Then at bed time I always use Pampers because they seem to be the best against leaks.
Oh if you have any interest at all and you go with the Cloth and would like my Bummis Diaper covers I would be happy to send them to you. We never really used them because they were just to big for a newborn. The only thing you would need of your own is the Chines pre-folds that insert inside of the covers. I used mine for many other things. But the covers are like brand new.
Well, luckily we are past the diaper stage but we used Pampers. They had the least amount of blowouts and were nice and stretchy at the top to get a good fit.
If you are looking for an alternative, I have a friend who has a 1-year-old and she has been using these things called G Diapers -- which are plastic type underwear type things with removable liners that can be tossed. Kind of a combination of diapers and cloth. She loves them and feels better about not using so many diapers. You might want to check them out.
We used fold up cloth diapers with Ewok, and then Princess. Except for a few Huggies/Pampers if we were traveling.
Various friends use cloth at the moment - or bamboo paper ones.
There are some gorgeous diapers around at the moment.

I used the Pampers when my son was a baby, and then went back and forth with Pampers and Huggies depending on coupons. When he hit about a year old, I tried the Parent's Choice ones from Wal-Mart - I think it's their store brand now that White Cloud has been taken off the diaper shelves. Guess what - they're 6 dollars cheaper than Huggies/Pampers per 82 diapers on average. And they don't suck. I'm just sayin.
But I will NOT use generic wipes any more. Too many icky things happened. I vote Huggies Sensitive for that. :-)
We use Pampers but I seriously wish I had had the energy to use cloth. The waste every week makes me feel ashamed.
What did you do with T Rex? I'm assuming you are considering cloth?
